One drummer who can hold a room on his own, or a hundred people all playing something at once. Tell him the date and the real number comes back within 24 to 48 hours.
Most drum circles and parties land between a few hundred dollars and about a thousand, depending on how long it runs, how many people are playing, and how far a kit has to be carried.
What he does
Five shapes this usually takes
Drum circle
Everybody plays. He brings hand percussion, leads it from the middle, and gets a room of strangers locked together inside ten minutes.
Good for: Team days, community events, birthdays, anything where the point is that people join in.
He brings: Hand drums and percussion for the group, plus his own kit if you want him to play too.
Corporate day
A drum circle built as a team session, or a performance slot inside a conference day. Both work; they are different products.
Good for: Offsites, kickoffs, staff parties, and end-of-quarter days that need something that is not a slideshow.
He brings: Everything, and he works to your run sheet. Indoor or outdoor.
School workshop
A playing demonstration and then hands-on time, pitched at the age group. Loud, and the point is that every child gets to hit something.
Good for: Assemblies, music departments, after-school programmes, summer camps.
He brings: Kit, percussion for the group, and a session shaped around how long you have and how many children.
Private party
Live drums at your thing. On his own over music, or with the band, indoors or in a yard.
Good for: Birthdays, anniversaries, backyard parties, weddings.
He brings: Kit and whatever amplification the space needs. Tell him about stairs.
Festival and public event
A set with the band, or a roaming street-style performance that draws a crowd where you need one.
Good for: Street festivals, markets, openings, sponsor activations.
He brings: A set list, and a stage plot if your production asks for one.
Why him for this
He plays in public most days, in front of people who did not come to see a drummer, and gets them to stop anyway. That is a different skill from playing well on a stage, and it is the one an event actually needs.

- Whether there is power, parking, and a way to get a kit in without carrying it up stairs
Say it if it applies
- You want everybody playing, not just watching
- You want the band rather than one drummer
- There is a sound system and an engineer already
- It is a school, so you need paperwork and a background check on file
- You have a hard budget - say the number and he will tell you honestly what fits
- Half up front holds the date, the rest is due on the day.
- If Brian cancels or misses the agreed deadline, the deposit comes back in full.

What do you need from me to quote an event?
The date, roughly how many people, where in Austin, indoors or outdoors, how long you want music or drumming for, and whether there is power and a way to get a kit in. Six lines is enough and the number comes back within 24 to 48 hours.

What kinds of events do you do?
Drum circles, corporate team days, school workshops, private parties and festival sets. Some of those are Brian on a kit, some are everybody playing something, and the two are priced differently - say which one you had in mind, or describe the room and he will tell you.
Can a few of us learn together?
Yes. A group lesson is a flat $200 for the whole group, split however you like among 2 to 4 people, prepaid. Popular with friends, families and teams.
How long until Brian replies?
He answers these himself, within 24 to 48 hours. If you have paid to hold a slot and he has not confirmed the time within 24 hours, you get the whole amount back on Venmo, no argument.
What happens to the details I put in the form?
They go to Brian by email so he can reply to you, and they are stored privately. They are never sold, never shared with anyone else, and never used to advertise anything to you elsewhere.
