What is collected

Nothing, until you send a form. The pages themselves set no cookies and load no tracking script. Fonts are served from this site rather than fetched from a font company, so no third party learns that you visited.

When you do send a form, what is stored is what you typed: your name, your email, your phone number if you gave one, what you want, and which page you sent it from.

Where it is stored

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Form submissions are stored in Cloudflare KV, which is Cloudflare's own key-value storage, and emailed to Brian so he can answer you.

Your IP address is stored as a one-way hash, never in the clear. The hash exists to stop one machine sending a thousand forms; it cannot be turned back into an address.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for 24 months and then deleted. If you ask for them to go sooner, they go sooner.

Email

If you ask for the three drum tips, you get one email with the tips in it. That one is transactional: you asked for it, so it is sent whether or not you tick anything.

Anything beyond that only happens if you ticked the box that says so. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link that works in one click, and the address is never sold, rented or handed to anybody.

Who else is involved

• Cloudflare - hosts the pages, stores the enquiries and sends the email. Their servers see the usual web request information.
• Venmo - if you pay Brian, you are paying through Venmo, which is a third party with its own privacy terms. That payment happens on Venmo, not on this site, and this site never sees your card or bank details.
• YouTube (Google) - video thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers, and pressing play loads YouTube's player. At that point YouTube's own privacy terms apply. Nothing else from YouTube loads until you press play.

There is no advertising pixel anywhere on this site, and no data broker in that list.

Analytics

There is no analytics product in use. Nothing counts your visit. If one is ever added, it is named on this page before it goes live, not afterwards.

Getting your details deleted

Ask, and they go. Say what you want removed and Brian does it himself - he is the only person who reads these. A public comment of yours quoted on this site comes down within 24 hours of you asking; see what people say.

Children

This site is written for adults, and lessons are booked by adults. Lessons for under-18s are arranged with a guardian, who stays for the lesson. Nothing here is aimed at children or knowingly collects anything from them.

Changes

When anything on this page changes - a new processor, a card payment provider, an analytics tool - it is named here first. The rest of the wording that applies to money and booking is on the terms page.
